  • One-on-one design consultation – after measurements are gathered, a BC&E employee works closely with each customer to construct and design their personal cabinet layout.
  • Cabinet Finishes:
    • Glaze – Glazed finishes highlight subtle details within the cabinets.  Two coats of a customer chosen colored base is sprayed on, followed by a customer chosen tinted glaze.  In order to ensure even distribution, each coat of glaze is hand-wiped throughout.  A final two layers of clear coat is applied to allow for a more durable finish.  In order to remove any dust or dirt particles and to guarantee smoothness, each cabinet is sanded between coats.
    • Stain – Stained finishes enhance the natural grain of the wood.  In order to create this appearance, a customer chosen stain color is applied to the entire cabinet—door, drawer front, face-frame, etc.  In order to ensure even distribution, the coat of stain is hand-wiped throughout.  A final two layers of clear coat is applied to allow for a more durable finish.  In order to remove any dust or dirt particles and to guarantee smoothness, each cabinet is sanded between coats.
    • Paint – Paint finishes allow for a simple, clean appearance.  Two coats of a customer chosen paint color is applied to the entire cabinet—door, drawer front, face-frame, etc.  Each coat of paint is sprayed onto the cabinets to create a smooth, sleek finish.  A final two layers of clear coat is applied to allow for a more durable finish.  In order to remove any dust or dirt particles and to guarantee smoothness, each cabinet is sanded between coats.
    • Other styles of finishes include distressed and crackle.
